Storyboard for our opening of our thriller.
On Thursday's lesson we got into our filming groups, which is me, Summer and Shelby. At the beginning of the lesson we had no idea what our film was going to be about or what we even wanted it to be about. It wasn't until we started talking amongst ourselves that we came up with an idea that all three of us were happy about. Our opening for our thriller is about a group of five girls walking home after a drunken night out. In the group of five friends one of them is a lot more sensible than the rest and decides she wants to take a safer but longer route home rather than cutting through a dark lane. Her other friends are up ahead and ignore her wanting to take the safer route home and carrying on walking home without her. Its not until they realise that she isn't following them that they turn around and find her gone. the only piece of evidence left behind is her shoe. The beginning of opening will start as a documentary of one of the friends who didn't go missing talking about how she wished they had all listened to her and that they didn't leave her behind all on her own. After we had decided the basic storyline for the opening of our thriller we then started on making the storyboards. We had to draw what we wanted each shot to look like and then explain what kind of camera angle it would be, what would happen in the shot and what kind of dialogue (if any) there would be.
