Photos of the location for Trace.

 This is the location for our film Trace, we as a group chose this location for Trace because it is a dark and manily isolated setting which is a convetion of the Thriller genre. Also because the storyline of Trace is about Katie going missing this setting fits in with the storyline because it is isolated so nobody would hear her scream or notice she has gone missing apart from Becky and Laura.

 The house nearby to where we filmed is a good engima code because the house could be linked to Katie's disapearence therefore creating a mystery amongst the audience watching. Also having the house nearby makes the location a lot more sinister and scary because if the people living inside are innocent why didn't they hear the scream and react to it?

By having such a dark setting it will automatically make the audience realise that something wrong is going to happen. This could create the audience to feel uneasy and expect the worse which is a natural reaction when watching a thriller.
